Mint Logo Design

The Mint app is a finance and budgeting tool that is owned by Inuit. The app helps you set limits for budgeting, help build savings, and overall handle money better. In an attempt to target a younger audience, I did this logo redesign to play on the work "Mint" and the organic and simple ways to save money. The leaves mirror an actual Mint plant, but in this rendering each leaf is a possible goal for savings like a wedding, a business, or a trip. In the center, small leaves are folded into a money sign to drive home the monetary nature and the financial production of money in a Mint. Finally, this budgeting isn't branded as boring, but instead a means to reach your dreams.

Print Ad

The band of the wedding ring is actually the graphic from the budgeting section of the app. In this section, users can monitor their spending and savings. I integrated this icon to show all the finances and planning that goes into a wedding and how Mint can directly aid in organising finances.

Interactive Ad

Playing off the campaign as smart money management as a means to live a full life, this interactive ad focuses on how Mint can help its users travel the world. Positioned on a walkway, the Mint logo would emerge like a passport stamp when walked across.

Birkenstock Print Ad

In this advertisement, we were challenged to create an ad that positioned Birkenstock as a fashion choice among Millenials. The copy is a word play on the material of the shoe shaping to the foot of the wearer. In a world full of uncomfortable heels, break the mold and do something different.

TREND BLASTS

Jackie O

As part of my work with Facets PR in London, I would prepare weekly "trend blast" to send out to all of the publications and clients. In this particular blast, in conjunction with the release of the movie Jackie starring Natalie Portman, focused on the classic style of former first lady Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy Onasis. I paired selections from our clients with photographs of Jackie during her life.

In another Trend blast for Facets PR, I focused on Mother's Day gifts for a first time "Mum." My work from this piece was actually featured in a Mother's Day gift guide for an online fashion publication in London.

The section part of my Mother's Day trend blast featured Mother's Day gifts for families on a budget. It allowed me to target a demographic by both gender and price.

One of my friends Bea Doheny began a jewerly start up in 2015 and over the past few years I have made print and digital ads for her company. In this particular piece, I pulled inspiration from one of Bea's favorite quotes; "The Earth without Art is just AH." I also wanted to play upon how art and creation is at the center of our existence on this Earth.

Birkenstock Print Ad

In a banner heading for Astronbeads, I featured her Solar System bracelet in the span of the universe. There is a social media campaign where the brand asks, "Where in the universe do you wear your Astronobeads." I took one of the photos that was taken in the Virgin Islands and paired it with solar background to express the ties between science and art.
