Science Hiring
The Amazon Science job family includes the following roles: Applied Scientist, Data Scientist, and Research Scientist. All three roles are quite similar in terms of background, skills, and qualifications so we needed to build a single toolkit for hiring all three while still addressing individual roles. The data pool for this persona is quite small as there are few qualified candidates.
In this concept, we both poke fun and show how data and research can influence decisions. At Amazon, it drives everything we do … including this very ad campaign. Literally. These concepts were A/B tested for performance and then selected. That’s data-driven decision-making in action.
